Charice to stay in the U.S. for good?

Based from the most recent Charice interview, she was asked whether she wants to stay in the U.S. for good. Those who watched the report will know that she does not lot look like she is not warm to the idea of uprooting their live here and leave the Philippines. In a report last November, Mrs. Racquel Pempengco also isn’t thrilled with the idea of staying in the U.S. Charice said that one of the reason why she does not want to leave the Philippines is because she does not want to be forgotten by Filipinos at home.

However, when Charice’s career in the U.S. takes flight, many fans believe that living permanently abroad is inevitable. Although a lot of Charice’s fans here may feel bummed and left out, many are happy that we have this Filipino singer who is realizing her dream and who are we to stop her? And if Oprah recommends that Charice should stay in the U.S., I think it will be hard to say no to Ms. O.

On the other hand, Charice is born and raised her in the Philippines and contrary to popular belief  living in the U.S. is not an easy decision. Not everyone wants to live in the U.S. and Charice may be one who just does not want to move. All her friends are here, and her true personality shows when she is at home. If she is not able to adjust properly, even her career in the U.S. might suffer.

    Why can’t she maintain residences at both places? If Oprah can own homes in Miami, FL, Santa Barbara, CA, and who knows where else, why not Cha? This would make it convenient for her to travel between US and Philippines without having to worry about getting temporary accomodations at either.

    Yes I agree totally with the idea of maintaining two homes, especially now that the real estate prices are at the lowest. I’m sure if Charice agreed to making a second home here in LA where most of her work is and it is just a question of Charice being able to afford purchasing it and maintaining it, Ms. O wouldn’t hesitate to cover it and tell Charice not to worry about it. Ms. C of Melaware Phils. “GAVE” Charice and family a condo unit which is not cheap at all.

    A second point to consider is, because of the constant travelling back and forth to the Philippines, the kids (both Charice and Carl) will have difficulty finding a school flexible enough to accommodate their schedules. And it won’t be a good idea to split up the family with Charice here and Carl there in the Phils. and Mommy Raquel doing the jet setting every now and then. Haha, She’ll be the cat watching the mice in two separate homes. Not a good idea. It would probably be better if they all moved here, get the kids settled in good schools and Charice takes Tutorial Programs to keep abreast with her academics. Mommy raquel takes care of both kids in focus and Charice and Mommy Raquel and sometimes Carl(depending on his vacation schedule), can fly to the Phils for special appearances and some business and or pleasure trips.

    These will all depend on whether Charice’s income shall allow all these travelling. Unless whoever requests her appearance in the Phils. covers their plane fare, just as whoever foreign show requested Charice before from the Phils. had to cover their plane fare and hotel and per diems or talent fees. It shouldn’t be difficult to reach a happy arrangement and more workable schedule for the sake of Charice’s career with the maintenance to two home bases. But the priority shall be as they say, wherever “the forces of nature” dictates.

    Good luck Charice. Sk the good Lord for gudance. Make it “His will be done”. You’ll never go wrong in that case. Love you Charice dear.
