Charice’s Reasons to Stay in the Philippines

In a hearty and interview of Charice, the young lass confided with Bum Tenorio whe she prefers to say in the Philippines rather than uproot herself and move to the United States. The article is probably one of the better articles featuring Charice and her personal side.

Philippine Star – How close are you to David Foster? I asked.

“Very close,” she said with a hearty laugh while gesturing to me with her tightly locked middle and index fingers to denote her closeness to the Canadian singer, composer and album producer. “He calls me his daughter, his baby.” (Last Feb. 4, Charice started recording with David Foster her first solo album in the States. It will hopefully be released before her 17th birthday on May 10. Dianne Warren, the songwriter who penned Because You Loved Me and I Don’t Want To Miss A Thing, was one of the composers writing songs for Cha. In fact, a little bird told me, David asked her to revise the song she wrote for Charice because “though it is powerful, the song needed more high keys that would be apt for Charice’s very high vocal range.”)

  • No American food for her. Charice still loves her 555 sardines, Century Tuna, and Purefoods Corned beef. (That line is an endorsement in itself)

    Dearest Charice,

    You should focus your career here in the U.S. not in the philippines because this is an opportunity, that awaits for you. The American people, are here to support you 110% and we are ready to support you at any cost. People here
    in the united states care more about your career and highly respect you, because of your talent. Charice, you have gone beyond your dreams and you are now the number one female vocalist in the world right now, regardless of ages.

    People here, are more willing to support you, especially; Ellen Degeneres, Operah Whimprey, and David Foster, your career did not really start in the philippines, it started here in the U.S., and I’m pretty sure you feel that way too.

    I’m, very dissapointed with our fellow filipinos and it’s plane hypocracies, even the President of the Philippines, missed someone like you, who is very talented and we did not see any support from her. We should value,our kids and give them opportnity to be successful and help them to achieve their goals. Here in the U.S. we have a lot succesful people, because we support one another and we are proud of Charice who is very sincere and whole hearted person, who srtive hard to be successful.

    Charice, Let your Torch be be known in the world that “You are the symbol Force of Nature” that brings; Joy, Strength, and Hope. You are the voice of the young generation that will bring their hope back again. There’s is no dreams that are not achievable, if you put your whole heart with integrity and sincerity you will reach far beyond your dreams, that you can not even imagine.

    Charice, you have brought our joy back again….Thank You! for you inspiration and we are so proud of you…..

    You are now a big “Star” here in America and people can’t wait for you to perform and sing again in Las Vegas this coming May 9,2009.

    We hope that you will stay here in the America, so it will be easy for you to commute. I know, it’s hard to adjust in the beginning, but you will like it here more better and I guarantee you 100%..you will exprience to be an “American”, and when you do, you will be so much proud of yourself.

    My experienced with you, when I saw you for the first time performing on “Good Morning America” and when I heard your voice, It was very shocking and it blown me away with a stunning face. I was very impressed with your powerful voice and it was all coming from your heart and it gave me chills and goose bumps…

    I asked my self who is this young girl? When,I found out that your were from the philippines, I was more shock and my jaw fell apart and I could not get enough of you. It was a very weird feelings, that I was so touched by your voice and I could not explain the feelings, that I was experiencing.

    Then, I started to look for you on “YouTube” to find out more about you and wanted to hear more of your voice and I bacame so much attached to you and I started to fell in love with your voice…Then, when I saw you with Andrea Bocelli sing duet in Italy and he mentioned that you are the “FORCE OF NATURE”…Then, I started to realized, Yes! that’s it!..That was my answer to my feelings, that I was going through some kind encounter of third kind that I have discover my inner Hope, Strength and Joy…After, watching all her videos, I became magnetized to my computer and stayed awake for overnight listening to her voice and I had to go to work the next day with no sleep. Charice Pempengco, goes beyond her dreams and has achieved her goal to be the BEST female vocalist in the world today regardless of her age.

    Charice, you are so bless with “FORCE OF NATURE”…Because of your “Heavenly Voice”…… “This Is A Gift From God”. God Bless You! Charice and your Family…. Always stay humble and always put God first in anything you do and give him, all the glory……In this world, we will face many challenge in our lives and there will be many temptations and I hope that you will be strong in all your decisions and always keep asking God for advise. Hope, that someday you too, will serve the LORD with all of your heart…
